Clear morning at the beach in Port Aransas TX | Port Aransas Explorer www.portaransastex.com

One of the nicest Easter traditions on the island is simply spending time on the beach. Bring a blanket, walk the shoreline, or sit quietly and watch the waves.

Spring often brings warm days but cooler breezes and smaller crowds compared to summer, making it a great time to enjoy the beach. If you’re looking for quieter stretches of sand, see my guide to the best beaches in Port Aransas.

You might even spot dolphins offshore, pelicans diving for fish, and shorebirds along the waterline. It’s a great weekend for pausing and reflecting.

A beautiful way to wrap up Easter is watching the sunset at Roberts Point Park. This expansive waterfront park in Port A overlooks the ship channel, where massive cargo ships pass by as the sun sets behind the marina.

Truth be told, it’s one of the best sunset spots on the island.
